The Wasatch Choice Visionary Awards offer a special opportunity for local leaders, nonprofits, transportations agencies, and advocates to have their exemplary work making the Wasatch Choice a reality recognized by peers across the Wasatch Front. The Wasatch Choice partners look forward to celebrating our region’s accomplishments in fall 2023, highlighting our partners who improve the quality of life for our more than 2 million residents within the Wasatch Front Regional Council and Mountainland Association of Governments boundaries.

Nominations for leaders, projects, plans, and initiatives are being accepted in the following categories:

We plan to make awards in the following four categories:

• Transportation Choices Award: Exemplified real choices in how we get around and increase the number of easily reached destinations.
• Housing Options Award: Supported housing types and locations that give us options to meet our wants and needs.
• Parks and Public Space Award: Ensured ample and easily accessible parks, public spaces, and open land where we can recreate.
• City and Town Center Award: Created and enhanced the center of a/their community, linking transportation with economic opportunities and housing choices.
