The Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC) has developed and adopted the long range 2011-2040 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and the short range (six year) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for highway, transit and other projects. The RTP is updated every four years and the TIP is updated annually. The WFRC produces numerous maps to illustrate these plans, a gallery of which is available on this page.
As part of the preparation phase for the RTP and TIP updates noted above along with other studies, WFRC develops or uses large amounts of data such as estimated future traffic volumes, estimated future transit ridership, possible land use patterns, etc. Much of that data is available to the public and is linked on this page.
Also on this page are links to the webpages of the cities and counties that comprise WFRC. Additional links are provided to a variety of federal, state and local agencies that participate with WFRC in its various missions.
Finally, the WFRC administers several programs which require formal applications. Application forms for a variety of programs are available on this page.
